AUTOMATION

AUTOMATION PROJECT ENGINEER (JOB NUMBER: S6001)
Entry Level Self-starter needed in the Automation Department. Duties will include quote coordination, monitoring project timelines, interfacing with customers, product and technology research, assistance in purchasing, assistance in writing manuals and work instructions. Applicant should have excellent communication skills, understanding of manufacturing techniques including automated workcells, PC skills and familiarity with CAD. Engineering degree or equivalent experience required. Reports to Automation Manager.

AUTOMATION ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN (JOB NUMBER: S6002)
Key responsibilities include assisting Automation team members in assembly of fixtures, gauges and automated workcells, wiring of control panels, programming and troubleshooting PLC’s, SCARA and 6-axis robots and support training of production staff.   This position requires a 2-year degree minimum in related field or equivalent mix experience and education, strong communication skills and PC familiarity.  Reports to Automation Manager.

 

ENGINEERING

PROJECT ENGINEER (JOB NUMBER: S6003)
(Experienced) Will manage projects and lead cross-functional teams for design, development and validation of new products.  This position is the key contact and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid background in plastics and excellent project management skills.  BS Degree in Engineering and 5-7 years of experience in the plastics industry is required, experience in Medical Device industry is a plus.

PROJECT ENGINEER (JOB NUMBER: S6004)
(Entry level)  Will facilitate  Program acitivies  directed by the Lead Engineer  for design, development and validation of new products.  This position will develop into  the key contact and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid background in plastics and excellent project management skills.  BS Degree in Engineering and knowledge of the plastics industry is required,  experience in the plastics industry is a plus.

BUYER (JOB NUMBER: S6024)
Responsible for procurement functions directly associated with company needs for assigned commodities, indirect materials and services, select production equipment and office supplies .

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (JOB NUMBER: S6023)
Hands on HR Manager with experience in all phases of HR to include recruitment, benefits administration, contract negotiations, work comp and injury/risk management.  Thorough understanding of State and Federal regulations.  Strong communicator and experienced in conflict resolution. Proficient with Word and Excel.  Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, or equivalent, with over 5 years of experience in the HR field required.

MANUFACTURING COST ACCOUNTANT (JOB NUMBER: S6005)
Lead cost savings initiatives in scrap, freight, productivity, etc.  Identify areas of overspending or waste and lead efforts to resolve.  Analyze and report costs for operations in all Plants.  Determine actual costs.  Must have demonstrated skills in job cost analysis preferably in a molding and assembly operation.  Analyze manufacturing cost variances.  Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or a minimum of 3 years of related experience.  Manufacturing environment is  a must .  Must poses strong analytical, problem solving, technical and communication skills.  Proficient with Excel, Access, Crystal Report writer, and ERP systems (preferably IQMS).  Assembly experience, molding/manufacturing and plastics desired.

PURCHASING/MATERIALS MANAGER (JOB NUMBER: S6006)
Corporate environment, responsible to negotiate contracts and cost opportunities for implementation at satellite manufacturing  plants .  Responsible for materials management functions to include supervision of purchasing, warehousing, inventory control.  College degree in engineering, business or other appropriate field.  Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing including supplier management, preferably in plastics.  Experience in Inventory control, MRP and lean manufacturing required.  Must have strong leadership skills in planning, implementing and reporting.  Strong contract and negotiation skills.  Experience with international shipments and logistics a plus. 

COST ACCOUNTANT (JOB NUMBER: S6009)
Prepare and distribute product costing information; analyze process cost variances and develop procedures to minimize future variances; control cost, cost roll and materials and purchase price variances within ERP system. Work with manufacturing personnel to alleviate variance-causing issues.

Experience with injection molding machines to include establishing cycle times, tonnages, temperatures, knowledge of engineering grade resins and production troubleshooting.

OPERATIONS ENGINEER (JOB NUMBER: S6017)
Develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specification and quality standards.  Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls.  Manage project from engineering release to production, through shipment for new or revised projects.  Requires technical skills in manufacturing processes i.e. molding, tooling and all value added operations and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment.  BSME or equivalent experience.

ROBOT/AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN (JOB NUMBER: S6018)
Responsible for programming and set-up of 3-axis servo and SCARA robots. Troubleshooting/maintenance of custom assembly equipment, automated work cells and vision systems will be required. Mechanical, pneumatic and electrical skills essential.  Adept and Wittmann robot experience in an injection molding environment preferred.  minimum of 2yr Associates degree in Automation/Robotics or 6 years of solid automation experience.

SET UP (D Crew) (JOB NUMBER: S6019)
Experience in production troubleshooting, able to understand molding process development.  Remove molds and auxiliary equipment from molding machines; set up next mold; fit pipes/hydraulic lines if needed.

MOLD CLEANER (A Crew) (JOB NUMBER: S6025)
Maintain and clean molds .

 

QA (Quality Assurance)

QUALITY ENGINEER (JOB NUMBER: S6022)
Must be proficient in the use of MS Office programs.  Must have working knowledge of DOE’s, Product Validation and statistical tools.  Must have experience with dimensional metrology and past experience inspecting parts using different types of equipment.  Experience with CMM programming is required.  College Degree in a Quality Related field is required, previous Quality Engineering experience preferred, 3-5 years minimum.

INSPECTOR (JOB NUMBER: S6027)
Mechanically inclined, strong mathematic skills, knowledge in statistics and a high school diploma. Utilize various measuring equipment including C.M.M. Training in injection molding preferred .

 

MAINTENANCE

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (JOB NUMBER: S6026)
Preventative maintenance duties, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in our modern facility. Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical skills required.  Must have good driving record and be a self starter.  Plastics experience preferred.
