ASSEMBLY

ASSEMBLER (One for 1st Shift, Three for 2nd Shift, and Three for 3rd Shift)Responsible for production assembly, equipment operation, product quality and meeting standard output levels. Ability to lift up to and bend to move 55lbs.

ASSEMBLY CELL LEAD A (1st Shift)The cell leader will train and direct daily activities of assigned personnel. Assist the Assembly Supervisor in the absence of the Assembly Leader with direct assembly operations including, productivity, training, reporting and all other duties as defined on the Assembly Lead Job description. 2+ years of experience in assembly operations, must be extremely dependable and efficient, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

ASSEMBLY LEAD (One for 2nd Shift)Assist the Assembly Supervisor with direct assembly operations including productivity, traceability, training and reporting. Provide direction to Assemblers; insurance compliance with safety and other SMC work rules. Responsible for compliance with Assembly SOPs, DMR instructions and related SWI's. Must have 3+ years assembly operations experience, ability to prioritize and manage multi-task, offer solutions to problem resolution and be extremely dependable. Proven leadership skills required.

ASSEMBLY SET-UP (One for 1st Shift)The Set up Technician will set up work stations and/or equipment to the point of the submission of first off assemblies for quality submission and also be responsible for assigned maintenance tasks. 2+ years of experience in assembly operations.  Must be extremely dependable and efficient, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

ENGINEERING

PROJECT ENGINEER — Participate in the development of new projects from quotation support, through development and validation of molds, equipment, and manufacturing processes, and successful transfer to manufacturing. Working knowledge of 3D CAD software, Solidworks is preferred. Bachelor of Science Degree in Plastics Engineering preferred.

ENGINEERING MANAGER — Responsible for controlling all Engineering Operations by planning and coordinating activities to provide for development and improve operating efficiency. Manage and coordinate activities of engineering department to design, manufacture, assemble and test products/systems.  This will include the design/development of new products/processes, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Advanced degree a plus.  Minimum of 10 years in the Injection Molding Industry. Strong Tooling and injection molding experience is a must. Experienced in product development &/or program/project management.  Working knowledge of ISO and quality standards.  Must have Validation experience as related to medical devices.

PRODUCTION

MACHINE OPERATOR (One for A Shift, Two for B Shift, Three for C Shift, Five for D Shift) –Responsible for operating Automatic and Insert Molding Machines. Check all inserts and production for visual defects such as grease, dirt, shorts, flash and burns.  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and bend to move up to 50 lbs.

SERVICE PERSON A (D Shift)Responsible for servicing molding machines and related equipment. Support the Shift Supervisor in carrying our daily production operations. Backfill for the Shift Supervisor and report shift production as needed. Cover machines for Operator breaks as needed. Ability to lift and bend to move up to 50lbs.

SERVICE PERSON C (Two for D Shift)Responsible for servicing all automatic molding machines, operating insert molding machines, visual inspection of parts, filling material hoppers, grinding runners and moving finished production to packing area.  Ability to lift and bend to move up to 50 lbs.

PACKER (One for D Shift) — Responsible to Weigh, package and label all production as needed. Generate labels from IQ for all production.  Assist in maintaining adequate inventory of boxes, labels, bags, etc.  Follow Packaging procedures per SOP C10010 for each customer as outlined in the Packaging Specifications. Ability to lift and bend to move up to 50 lbs.

PROCESS TECH (One for C Shift, One for D Shift) — Responsible for identifying and resolving all process and quality related issues for new and sustaining molds.  Perform all production startups after mold changes or repairs. Interact with Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance and Engineering to solve day-to-day manufacturing issues. Plastics Technology degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience as a Plastics Process Technician.

MATERIAL MIXER (1st Shift) — Responsible for mixing and grinding of materials and maintaining the Material Loading Area. High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in Material Mixing preferably in injection molding. Ability to lift up to and bend to move 50 lbs.  

SHIFT SUPERVISOR (Two for A Shift, One for C Shift) — Responsible for supervising all activities on the molding room floor including machine start-ups and shift disposition. Must be self motivated and a strong team player with excellent leadership and communication skills. 3-5 years Supervisory experience in a plastics manufacturing environment required.

QUALITY

QUALITY INSPECTOR (One for 3rd Shift and One for B Shift)Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspections. Experience with measuring devices, such as calipers, micrometers and comparators. Strong mathematical skills, knowledge in statistics and a high school diploma are required. 1-3 years quality and plastic injection molding experience preferred.

QUALITY INSPECTOR (Weekend Night Shift - Sat and Sun 8 p.m. – 8 a.m. plus 2-8 hour shifts M-F) — Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspections. Experience with measuring devices, such as calipers, micrometers and comparators.  Strong mathematical skills, knowledge in statistics and a high school diploma are required. 1-3 years quality and plastic injection molding preferred.

TECHNICAL OPERATIONS

PROCESS ENGINEER  Perform production startups after mold changes or repairs in order to meet the daily production schedule.  Troubleshoot molding, manufacturing processes or material issues and then implement long term solutions.  Perform mold, robot, auxiliary equipment and machine setups as needed to meet the daily schedule. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Must have the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.  Must understand and have experience implementing decoupled molding processes and scientific molding techniques.  Production processing experience in injection molding needed.  Degree preferred with 5 years related experience.

TOOLROOM

MOLD MAKER A (1st Shift) — Build new molds from blueprints and CAD Data. Develop mold specifications from general description in a timely and cost effective manner. Construct molds requiring the use of a full array of automated and manual machine tools including CAD and EDM. Responsible for verifying conformance of machined parts to specifications, dimensions and alignment using measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges and gauge blocks. Ensure the building of molds to achieve accurate relationships and fitting of parts to extremely close tolerance on such items as pin length, venting areas with no accompanying flash, etc. Draw or sketches tools to be fabricated using drafting tools or computer software programs. Working knowledge and ability to use all tool room equipment and ability to read blueprints. Two year Technical School with minimum 10 years experience.
