SMC Ltd. Announces the Completion of Its Santa Rosa, CA Class 8 Clean Room Expansion
Somerset, Wisconsin – SMC Ltd., a medical device contract manufacturer with locations in California, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Ohio, Costa Rica, and India, announced the completion of its 10,000 sq. foot class 8 clean room manufacturing environment in their Santa Rosa, CA facility. The 10,000 sq. foot clean room expansion converted existing white room manufacturing into a Class 8 clean room. The expansion also allows for increased assembly area in the existing Class 7 clean room allowing us to better serve the needs of customers with clean room options for their medical devices. In addition, a 2,000 sq. ft. area has been dedicated to new product development and training. “The 10,000 sq. foot expansion in California provides SMC customers with additional clean room options allowing greater solutions for full device manufacturing and assembly.” said TJ Shadid SMC Santa Rosa Facility Manager.

SMC Ltd. Acquires New Building To Expand Its Medical Design And Product Development Center
Somerset, Wisconsin – SMC Ltd., a medical device contract manufacturer with locations in California, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Ohio, Costa Rica, and India, announced acquisition of a 16,000 sq. foot building to house and expand its medical design and product development center. The 16,000 sq. foot building is located in Twinsburg, Ohio, fifteen minutes from the existing location. The new space will allow for additional areas in product design, validation and clinical trials along with added rapid prototyping and clean room assembly. “Product design services offered by SMC Ltd. have been one of the industry’s best kept secrets. We’re about to change that.
