SMC Ltd. Receives Grant From Massachusetts Life Science Center
The Massachusetts Life Science Center (MLSC) announced the board of directors has awarded $19 million in tax dollars to 11 life science companies, including SMC Ltd. The program authorizes tax incentives each year for companies engaged in life science research and development, commercialization and manufacturing to create new jobs in Massachusetts. “SMC appreciates the 2015 grant awarded by the Massachusetts Life Science Center. As a life science manufacturer to the Top Healthcare companies, SMC strives to provide the highest quality products and services to our Massachusetts based customers and international customers as well. We look forward to expanding our workforce in conjunction with expanding our capabilities as we move into our new facility in Devens, MA later this year.” Brian Payson, Vice President and General Manager SMC East.
